OUR STORY

Our mission is to promote social inclusion and connection.

Connect121 is an early venture social enterprise founded in Brighton that spun out from the University of Sussex flagship startup lab. It went on to secure funding from Sussex Innovations Centres Social Impact Prize 2021. Connect121 offers care home managers the option to outsource emotional support for their care home residents, adding a competitive edge to thier carehomes prospectus. And enables families to protect their loved ones emotional wellbeing using our service.

We recruit, screen and train excellent psychology students with ambitions to pursue a clinical psychology doctorate, who require clinical work experience inorder to apply for thier chosen course. We then use online video conferencing to connect care home residents with our listeners. Residents are tasked with monthly projects such as learning to play chess, knitting projects or learning a topic of their personal interest.

We deliver an exceptional tailored experience to each individual's needs.
