CONNECT 1-2-1

The Allancia Group are celebrating having landed a contract to supply the organisers of this years BioDundee conference with a CONNECT 1-2-1 at Events delegate meeting management solution. Allancia will be responsible for the organisation of a business ‘partnering’ event which will be held as part of the conference on Friday the 18th June.

The BioDundee Conference is now in its 10th year, and is well established as the largest life sciences event of its kind in Scotland. The conference aims to bring together both the academic and commercial community to explore the commercialisation of scientific research. BioDundee is a partnership between the public, private and academic sectors. Its mission is to build the strength of the life sciences sector in Dundee and Tayside internally through partnership working, networking, knowledge and skills development, and externally promote and position the Dundee life sciences sector to relevant audiences as a centre of world class life science activity.

Allison Beattie, BioDundee event coordinator said “This year the BioDundee Conference will focus on partnerships and collaborations within the life sciences sector. In addition to the conference itself, BioDundee is also hosting a golf competition on Wednesday 16th, a Gala Reception and Dinner on the evening of Thursday 17th and a Biopartnering forum on Friday 18th June. The Biopartnering forum is a type of organised business ‘speed-dating’ and will be an ideal opportunity for companies and organisations to maximise business development opportunities through quick and focused, pre-booked business meetings. I am sure CONNECT 1-2-1 at BioDundee will add real extra value to this year’s event by ensuring delegates who want to meet each other can do so in an organised and professional manner.”
